SPT

Surrogate Partner Therapy (SPT) is a unique form of therapy that employs a surrogate as a practice partner for someone in need of help to remedy a physical dysfunction or an emotional inhibition pertaining to sexuality, sensuality, and intimacy. Working in a triad relationship, the surrogate, certified therapist, and client work as a team to create the best course of action in addressing concerns and achieving the client’s goals. A therapist cannot ethically or legally lay a hand on a client. This begs the question...

Who will then lead the client to a new way of experiencing themselves?

Surrogacy: What to Expect

How I Work

Typically, we will see each other for two hour sessions over the course of 4-6 months totalling 30-40 hours. You will continue to see a therapist on a regular basis with whom I will also work to discuss your needs. The first few sessions will revolve around us getting to know one another and covering your sexual history. Then we will begin experiential learning through sensate focus practices with increasing progression until we have resolved whatever brought you in seeking surrogacy.

My rate is $200/hour. I am also available for immersions, the cost of which is dependent on travel (you come to the Austin, TX area or I fly to you) and duration (usually 11-14 days). Immersions offer the same coursework as meeting for 4 months, only in a condensed period of time.
